Technology nowadays is very important in our lives and through it our body underwent many changes, it transformed, it renewed. As technology corrects genetic defects through therapy, rapid changes take place on the surface of the body. These changes or infections, in which the body is inevitably subject to, redefine its identity. Through genetic manipulation, identity as we knew it until recently, is completely delineated. Thus the body becomes the border region of identity between cultures, between what is real and and what is fake. This is a brand new body, not a transformed one, but a body separated from the mind, as a mere “investment”. A body formed by science, in a continuous transformation that has many faces, roles and identities.
